The Squamish local continues her dream season. She claims the rainbow jersey at the Enduro World Championships held in Bellwald, Switzerland.
Elly Hoskin crowned Enduro World Champion in Bellwald, Switzerland
That definitely wasn’t on her bingo card for the week — but Elly Hoskin is now a World Champion. 🌈
The Squamish, BC, rider capped off her dream season by earning her first rainbow stripes at the Enduro World Championships in Bellwald, Switzerland. Racing aboard her Devinci Spartan HP Carbon, Elly delivered an incredible performance, winning 4 of the 6 stages on the day.
It wasn’t all straightforward. Hoskin sat in second place going into the final stage, but dug deep and delivered when it mattered most — crossing the line to secure victory by just 4.53 seconds over her closest competitor.
The win makes Hoskin one of the rising stars in Canadian mountain biking, in what was already a historic day for the nation with two elite podiums.
Had to take the week one day and one stage at a time to not get ahead of myself. But I had a few moments to pinch myself and enjoy the fact that I got to race at World Championships. This is much more than an individual sport and I can’t thank my sponsors, my coach, my friends, and family enough.
With one more race to go before wrapping up her 2025 season, Elly will line up at the Canadian National Championships in Bromont, QC, in a couple of weeks — but this time, she does so as a World Champion! Congrats, Elly!
