Do I need to have a medical certificate to participate in the races?

No medical certificate is required. To participate in the race, the latter being licensed by the FQSC, a FQSC or UCI license is required. See License FAQ for more details.

Do I have to have a license from the FQSC to participate in the Down-Duro?

If you have an annual FQSC license, when you register, you must indicate your 5-digit license number which is preceded by QC and found on the back of your license. Have your license with you when picking up your plate and chip.

Anyone who applied for a license online and did not receive their license by post will need to present proof of payment on the morning of the race to collect their plate and chip.

If you do not have an annual FQSC license, you will need to obtain a daily license which will be valid only for the day of the event in which you participate. Plan an amount of $10 to $15 per participant depending on the category. Purchase this license at the same time as you register online for the race.
