The carbon sibling of the Troy Gen-5, released last fall, is completely redesigned to bring speed, vert-crushing climbing efficiency, and deft handling to your loam-smashing routine. No frills, no nonsense. Once again, adiós and farewell to SB+ —welcome back Boost 148 and a bunch of new features like our new ‘shed’ storage compartment in the downtube that lets you pack spares and snacks on every ride.
An all-new meticulously streamlined frame with an updated Split Pivot suspension kinematic with more travel. The updated geometry features size-specific chainstay lengths, a one-degree slacker head angle, a longer wheelbase, and various refinements throughout.

Suspension system
SPLIT PIVOT
Thanks to its concentric pivot at the rear wheel axle, Split Pivot effectively separates acceleration forces from braking forces. The result: an ultra-smooth ride with a hyper-active small bumps compliance, in addition to offering incredible traction and outstanding pedaling efficiency. The Split Pivot has been the suspension system of choice on Devinci full suspension bikes since 2011.

‘SHED’ STORAGE SYSTEM
The all-new in-frame ‘Shed’ storage system lets you bring everything you need on every ride without having to carry it on your back or in your pockets. The Shed storage system lets you store tube, tools, and snacks in your frame. The system includes a waterproof bag with a zipper, featuring a pull-tab for easy access.

The new Gen-5 Troy Carbon is available in two builds, both of which come stock with mixed wheels but are also compatible with a full 29” setup. The GX AXS build’s main specs features Rock Shox’s Ultimate series suspensions, fully adjustable SRAM Code Silver brakes, Race Face Vault hubs, Race Face ERA carbon bars, and burly Maxxis Double Down casing tires. The Eagle 90 counterpart is equipped with Select+ series suspensions, SRAM Code Bronze brakes, DT Swiss 370 Classic hubs, and lighter EXO+ casing Maxxis tires. We spec’d the parts based on how we ride. So, we are always prioritizing durability and performance while keeping astronomical builds and price tags out of the equation.

''I love this bike. I spent several months testing it on the trails around Pemberton, BC, and it was all good vibes. Around here, the climbs are steep and long to reach the best descents. A bike like the Troy Carbon pedals easily, climbs efficiently, and absolutely rips on the way down.
