Aluminum tube production technology with walls that vary in thickness twice along the total length of the tube to reduce weight and increase resistance. Tubes are thicker near the joints to make them more resistant and thinner in the middle to make them lighter. Usually reserved for top-of-the-line frames, Devinci uses this technology to produce its Cameleon frame, a bike within most people’s budgets. The Desperado is also produced with DBT tubes.
