Nativo Concept/PG/Devinci Team 2010
Team presentation | Nativo Concept, PG and Devinci Cycles of Quebec Canada are happy to announce their partnership by forming an elite road team for the 2010 season. The two companies were brought together through similar philosophies that value product development through rider feedback. Six men led by team director Luis F. Arevalo will pursue an aggressive race schedule across the globe.

After a month of training in Texas, the team’s first major test will be the Tour of Dominican Republic in February. After the Dominican Republic they return to Texas for a month to prepare for The Tour of Morocco and the Tour of Phosphates (Morocco). Team Nativo Concept/ PG/ Devinci will complete its arc across the globe by next competing in the Tour of Taiwan, then capping it off with the Tour of Costa Rica in December.

Leading the team in 2010 will be Michael Joannisse, who has proven himself with nine podium finishes in 2009, including three days in the leader’s jersey in the Tour of Quebec. The supporting riders include Champion of Quebec and Deaflympics silver medalist, Simon Gagnon-Brassard as the team sprinter. Riders Mathieu Roy (2007 Battenkill Roubaix winner) and Hugues Lapointe, will be joined by Benoit Lussier and Jean-Michel Lachance, organiser of the Tour de Québec to form a tactically and physically powerful foundation from which to launch the team leaders.

Devinci cycles will provide the team with LEO SL road frames and LEO T2 time trial frames. Both bikes use Devinci’s DMC carbon frame technology and their Carbon Super Leggera forks. SRAM RED components will complete both bikes, including SRAM S40 wheels for the LEO SL and SRAM S80 for the T2 time trial bike.

2010 marks a commitment from Nativo Concept to create a world class team with the support of Devinci cycles. They want to thank the supporting sponsors Plaisirs Gastronomiques, Sram, Dynamo and Honda Centre-Ville. You can keep track of the team’s season in the All Star section of Devinci website. www.devinci.com
